If you’re in need of a new iPad or MacBook for the upcoming school year, Apple’s back to school sale is now running in Canada and there are some great deals on the table.
Along with the already discounted Apple Education Pricing available on certain products, during Apple’s back to school sale students will also receive an Apple gift card worth up to $200 on select purchases.
If you’re shopping for a new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or iMac, you’ll get the full $200 gift card. If you’re shopping for an iPad Pro, iPad Air or Mac Mini, you’ll get a $150 gift card. Apple will send the gift cards to you via e-mail and they can be used towards the purchase of other products online in the Apple Store, such as an Apple Pencil or Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, or on apps, games, movies, shows, books and other services offered by Apple.
To demonstrate how much you can save during Apple’s back to school sale, if you were to purchase the base iPad Air (64GB with WiFi-only) you would end up saving $220 in total. With Apple Education Pricing you get it for $729 before tax ($70 off) and then you get the $150 gift card for purchasing it. Pretty sweet deal!
Students can also get 20 per cent off AppleCare+ during the sale, which ends on October 2. Apple also has a special Apple Music with Apple TV+ package available for students that only costs $5.99 per month.
In order to qualify for Apple Education Pricing and the back to school sale you must be a new or returning university or college student, the parent of a university or college student or a teacher or staff member at a university or college.
