Watch Sound of Freedom on VOD in Canada

You can now purchase and watch Sound of Freedom on select VOD services in Canada.

Jim Caviezel and Mira Sorvino star in the controversial film which is based on the true story of Tim Ballard; a former government agent turned vigilante who rescued hundreds of children from traffickers.

While the child-trafficking film was panned by critics when it was released last summer (it has a 57% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes), it became a box office hit thanks to its viral marketing campaign that urged the audience to purchase tickets for others to see it.

Its target demographic enjoyed it so much (it has a 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes) that Sound of Freedom currently sits in the tenth spot for highest grossing movie of 2023 (beating out Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, according to Box Office Mojo).

You can purchase Sound of Freedom now on Apple TV/iTunes for $24.99 or on Google Play Movies for $14.99. According to Apple, it will be available to rent via their service on December 15.

Amazon announced it will be streaming Sound of Freedom on its Prime Video subscription service in the US as of December 26. There is no confirmation that it will be available on Prime Video Canada at the same time.

The DVD and Blu-ray release for Sound of Freedom is set for November 14. Both appear to be out of stock on Amazon and pre-orders are not being accepted.
