Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing the high school football movie Varsity Blues on 4K UHD Blu-ray next year to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The film stars James Van Der Beek as a backup high school quarterback who becomes a star in his small town when starting quarterback (Paul Walker) is injured. Jon Voight, Amy Smart, Scott Caan, Ali Larter, and Jesse Plemons also star in the movie.

The two-disc set includes a newly remastered version of the film on 4K from the original negative along with a digital copy of the film. The Blu-ray disc has the following features:
