Barbara Meyer of Waterloo is $250,000 richer after winning with INSTANT HOLIDAY RICHES (Game #2390).
Barbara, a retiree, said she is a regular lottery player. Her favourite games are LOTTO MAX and INSTANT tickets. “I always ask the store clerk what the new tickets are and decided to try the holiday INSTANT games.”
The mother and grandmother scanned her ticket at the ticket checker in the store when she discovered her win. “I thought, ‘Oh it can’t be’, and scanned it again. I started to get nervous then headed home to show my husband – he was floored and didn’t’ believe it at first.”
“It’s amazing,” said Barbara. “I always wondered if I would ever be a lucky one, and here I am.”
Barbara said Christmas will be extra special for her children and grandchildren. “My husband and I will celebrate this win together over a nice dinner out,” she concluded.
